Securing the future with innovation

These efforts have helped Nuctech land orders from large-scale international firms and for high-level events and meetings.

It has provided more than 3,000 sets of security inspection products for major events, including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the Shanghai World Expo in 2010 and the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games.

During the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Nuctech leased about 600 pieces of equipment for nine of the 12 World Cup stadiums across Brazil.

The company provided nine sets of security inspection equipment for the sixth BRICS summit in Brazil's Fortaleza in 2014 and nine sets for the celebration ceremony in Brasilia for the 40th anniversary of the establishment of China-Brazil diplomatic relations.

"Exposure at these events is not just about branding, but also about grabbing market opportunities in other South American countries," Wang said, adding that the company is setting up a factory in Brazil to cash in on the Olympic Games that will be held in the country next year.
