PARIS - Euronext, Europe's leading stock exchange, and three main data vendors in China signed an accord to facilitate access to the pan-European markets for Chinese investors, the European exchange announced Thursday.

Under the agreement, Euronext will start distributing market data in China via the main data vendors East Money, Shanghai DZH Limited and Shanghai Wind Information.

"We are very pleased to be signing agreements with these three leading Chinese vendors, as they will further enhance the visibility and accessibility of our markets, listed companies and products," said Lee Hodgkinson, head of markets and global sales at Euronext.

"We are looking forward to reinforcing our partnership with the Shanghai Stock Exchange to explore the generation of further commercial benefits and grow our footprint in China," Hodgkinson added.

Que Bo, executive vice-president of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, said the cooperation in the market data business between the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Euronext will expand the vendors' data product scope.

Chinese investors will have easier access to Euronext's market data, he said.
