Elderly care

China has taken significant steps to develop elderly care via investment from the budget of the central government, attracting participation from city governments and companies to expand the supply of inclusive elderly care service.

In 2019, 1.4 billion yuan was invested by the central government budget and 70,000 beds for elderly care were created, and 64 cities and 119 projects got involved.
