China's job market remained stable in 2019. As of the end of November, there was continuous and stable growth in employment with about 12.79 million new urban jobs created this year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. More than 13 million new urban jobs are expected to be created for the seventh consecutive year. The surveyed urban unemployment rate and registered urban unemployment rate are below the control target.

Some 1.64 million jobs were created for jobseekers facing difficulties in securing employment as of the end of November, surpassing the target of creating 1.3 million jobs for those people in the entire year.
