Fu Jianfeng, 56, is the deputy president of the Xinjiang Dushanzi Culture Association and Xinjiang Artists Association.

He won the first Karamay Art Award in 2008 and is highly acclaimed for his series of oil paintings depicting the Chinese oil industry. Some of his most famous paintings are on display at the Karamay Museum.
