Network security forum held in Karamay

Forums on network security and technological cooperation along the Silk Road were held in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on July 22, playing host to domestic high-tech experts as well as those from countries along the Silk Road.

The two-day event facilitated cultural exchanges, regional network cooperation and space governance, further enhancing informatization construction and promoting China as a country with powerful networks.

At the network security forum, as well as network and data safety, solutions in the big data era, information security challenges and countermeasures for energy enterprises were discussed.

Du Yong, member of the standing committee of the Communist Party in Karamay, said that the city will strengthen its communication with the participants and promote network security and the construction of the Silk Road.

The second forum focused on technological cooperation along the Silk Road and saw experts discuss issues on science and technology, talent exchanges, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements with countries along the economic belt.
