Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone

Jointly established by State Science and Technology Commission and Xiamen Municipal Government in December 1990, Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone (XTHIDZ, 厦门火炬高新区) was elevated by the State Council in 1991 into a state-level high-tech industrial development zone. It’s one of the three industrial zones of the nation’s Torch Program and comprises a total of 8 industrial parks.

Xiamen Xiang'an Industrial Park

The Fujian Xiamen Xiang’an Industrial Park was founded in March 2006 by combining the Xiamen Yinlu Foodstuff Industrial Zone (formerly Xiamen Yinlu High-tech Zone) and the Xiamen Xiangbei Industrial Park to produce a provincial industrial park with Fujian provincial government approval.
