A group of magnificent photos featuring night sky, taken by Tang Junlin, recently went viral on Chinese social media.

Born and bred in Southeast China's Fujian province, Tang, now in her thirties, works at the Fujian Meteorological Administration and has a special fondness for night sky photography.

Tang's interest in the field started in 2015. When she was on a trip to Jiuxianshan Mountain in Dehua, a county-level city in Fujian, she was suddenly spellbound by the beautiful starry night over the scenic spot.

In order to capture spectacular sky views, Tang even travelled this month to Murmansk, a city in the Arctic Circle.

"I stayed there for six days and nights, and finally I captured the Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights I've long yearned to photograph," said Tang.
