Renowned artists having an emotional connection with Quanzhou of Fujian province took their paint brushes to the canvas, employing artistic languages to communicate their affections towards the city.

The painting exhibition will open to the public with free entry from 7 to 11 November, expecting to attract influxes of fine arts enthusiasts and professionals worldwide during the 14th Asia Arts Festival hosted by Quanzhou City.

Nearly 150 paintings by contemporary artists from Quanzhou and other regions of China are put on display, covering a wide range of genres including Chinese painting, oil painting, woodblock printing, watercolor painting and lacquer painting.
