Deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) from Fujian province have arrived in Beijing for an annual session of NPC which will kick off on March 5, Fujian Daily reported on March 3.

The deputies have prepared a wide range of proposals which will be submitted to the parliamentary body in an effort to improve the health of various sectors.

Dai Zhongchuan, a law expert, said his proposal focuses on pushing for reforms in the financial and taxation system and how to make local governments use its tax revenue in a more rational and efficient manner.

Huang Zhifeng, another NPC deputy, said he carried out a number of inspections in rural areas in Fujian last year to gain a better understanding of agricultural production levels. And he would suggest that the government promotes modern agriculture by increasing financial support as well as vocational trainings for rural labor force.

His sentiment was echoed by Zeng Yunying, who said she hoped to raise famers' income through a variety of ways and create more benefits for migrant workers.

On behalf of the working class, Lin Xinxin said that the government can play a leading role in the collective consultation on wage at enterprises so that it can better protect workers' right.

Lin Hexing is most concerned about improving the structure of the legal system in rural areas to raise every one's sense of law.
