A middle school student was killed by six of his peers in a brawl in Changding county, Fujian province on Saturday, Dec 6.

Police confirmed on Tuesday that all of the six juvenile delinquents had been seized and confessed to their offense.

The victim, 16, surnamed Liang, was a ninth grader at the Changding No.5 Middle School. His body was discovered in the playground of the Changding No.3 Middle School at around 2 pm on Saturday.

Police found that Liang had been beaten to death by the group led by a teenager surnamed Huang, who was recently expelled by the school.

Liang and Huang held a grudge against each other and had fought before, sources said.

The six teenagers are under criminal detention. The case is still being investigated.
