A team from the Fujian Commission for Discipline Inspection, headed by its deputy secretary Chen Shanguang, visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) to investigate its online exercise of power.

Earlier this year, Pingtan was designated as a pilot area for online government administration by the provincial Supervision Bureau, in a bid to make the administrative power execution more transparent.

According to the requirement, Pingtan will implement an array of power exercises, including land transfers, scientific and technology project management, procumbent by sports department, the making of favorable economic policies, allocation of funds and affordable housing, real estate transactions, etc, onto online platforms.

Online power execution is a huge reform, and Pingtan will explore many options for building platforms which will simplify administrative approval procedures for the public, said Li Dejin, director of PCPZ’s administrative committee.

Chen Shanguang praised Pingtan’s progress in the construction of its online power execution platforms, saying they will not only facilitate the administrative procedure, but will also help a lot in curing corruption and will be in compliance with the Party’s call to build closer ties with the public.
