Incredible art looks good enough to eat

Sarah Ward, a professional food grapher, pays homage to popular artists and their renowned artwork in her series 'Edible Art'.

The 28-year-old from New York has transformed Damien Hirst's For The Love Of God diamond skull, with the jewels replaced by brightly-coloured boiled sweets. She has remade Jeff Koons's giant shiny balloon dog with Twinkies (American sponge cake with creamy filling) and Jackson Pollock's abstract art from Rice Krispies and splashes of coloured icing and chocolate.

The confectionary self-portrait is inspired by one of Ward's favourite artists of all time, Cindy Sherman, and the Cubist movement features with Picasso and Braque-inspired pinwheel cookies.
