Katy Perry rejected by theme park worker

Katy Perry was turned down by a theme park worker who didn't know who she was.

The 'Firework' hitmaker visited Knott's Scary Farm in California on Sunday (09.10.11) with her husband Russell Brand and some friends - who all had their faces painted - and while she jokingly asked one of the staff to kiss her, he refused because he had no idea it was the pop star.

A worker wrote on his personal Tumblr account: "Last night Katy Perry and Russell Brand went on Xcelerator 8 I got to see them and talk to them, they had their faces painted so they couldn't be noticed. Katy asked one of my coworkers to make out with her but he didn't know it was her so he turned it down, my supervisor called him an idiot hahaha. (sic) "

Katy later tweeted pictures of herself and her friends with their faces painted, writing: "Scariest night of my life?" and "Be honest with me, do I look tired?"

Katy loves experimenting with her look and recently revealed she wants to try a pixie haircut but only for a short time after sporting the crop for a photo shoot.

She said: "It is a very short bob that has little curls coming around it.

"I think it's a bold look for me, especially for the short hair, but I've actually had a pixie cut before. I used to have a black pixie cut when I was about 17-18-19 so I felt I was reliving that part of my life again. It's really cute. I'd probably wear this look again, but I probably wouldn't do it for long."
