Baidu Hot Point: Zhang the protector

HAPPY Boy Zhang Jie doesn’t want to conceal it anymore: he made an emotional display of affection with Xie Na when he embraced her on stage, last Sunday. A number of 23 awards were handed out and a list of hottest stars including Elva Xiao, Alan Luo, David Tao and Top Combine all attended the ceremony. Taiwan hostess Patty Hou also became a focus point of the scene.

The intense hug took place during the Hot Point Awards Ceremony (娱乐沸点颁奖典礼) at Wukesong Arena, co-sponsored by Baidu and Hunan TV.

Zhang took the “Most Searched Male Artist of the Year” award. In accepting it, he said that Xie was his most beloved, and got all choked up. “I confessed because there are too many rumors going around, and I really want to protect her,” was how he explained it.
