HHtravel, the luxury tourism brand under China's largest online travel agency Ctrip, released its 88-day around-the-globe cruise trip product on Friday.

The cruise will sail a total of 10,800 miles, covering 17 countries and regions, as well as 64 harbors and cities in the North Pole, North America, Central America, South America, the South Pole and two oceans. Travelers will also be able to visit seven world cultural and natural heritage sites.

Italian boutique cruise company Silversea Cruises will be responsible for the sailing experience. It will include up to 19 expedition experts to provide travelers with professional language interpretation.

Cruises will start to be sold midday on Nov 20. Only 10 travelers will be on board for the cruise. Each of them will pay 880,000 yuan ($132,264) for the trip, which will start Sept 2 next year.

According to HHtravel, elderly high-end consumers prefer to travel by luxury cruises. As high-end tourism develops in China, a growing number of high net worth individuals prefer cruise trips as an ideal gifting choice to their parents.
