One of the most complex questions is how to lure the overseas shoppers back to China. Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng told the reporters that the products that consumers buy overseas are often personalized products that have good brand reputation and safety guarantee, Beijing Times reported Monday.

Those are the shortcomings we need to fix to strengthen structural reform of the supply front, Gao said.

The Ministry of Commerce will soon carry out implementation opinions on 'Internet + Logistics', aiming to build common delivery within cities while strengthening cold chain logistics to reduce the agricultural products' attrition rate in rural areas, said Gao.

In addition to that, the commerce ministry is focused on building the economic cooperation zones along the border and cross-border areas and draft the guidance catalogue on competitive industries in central and western regions for foreign investment. The access for foreign investment will also be relaxed in finance, education, cultural and logistics industries, especially in service industry, Gao said.

At the same time, the ministry will also accelerate the China-US and China-Europe FTA negotiations, according to Gao.
