According to Fast Company, in a year full of challenges - a slumping stock price and rock-bottom gasoline prices - Tesla remains America's dominant and most exciting electric-car manufacturer.
The company only sold about 120 cars in China last month, a source told Reuters, well below its aggressive targets. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has previously said he expected China sales could rival those in the US as early as 2015.
