Since its launch in 2020, "Baita Night Talks" — named after the White Pagoda at Beijing's Miaoying Temple — has become a platform for dialogue, heritage revitalization and closer ties between culture, commerce and tourism.

As part of this year's event, held this month in Xicheng district, home to the pagoda and other historic landmarks, the district's culture center is hosting an exhibition featuring a 100-meter-long landscape scroll depicting Beijing's Central Axis by artist Yang Liuyi, alongside his other paintings of heritage sites along this north-south line.

Running through the heart of old Beijing, the Central Axis shapes the city's traditional layout and connects landmarks spanning centuries of history. It was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2024.
