Three workers killed in soil collapse at Guiyang highway site

Three workers were killed Friday when soil collapsed at a highway construction site in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, Xinhua News Agency reported.

The collapse occurred in the morning during work on an expansion of the city's ring expressway, the agency said.

An investigation team is probing the cause of the accident and coordinating arrangements for the victims' families, including compensation.
