Ningxia wineries adopt QR code system to trace wine

A QR code traceability system has been introduced at 32 wineries in the wine-producing region at the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, the local wine industry park's administrative committee said on Oct 13.
By scanning the unique QR code on each bottle, consumers can access information about the wine's entire production process, from grape cultivation and harvesting to winemaking, aging, bottling and quality inspection. The system also provides product and winery details, and supports digital marketing and local wine tourism services.
