The 8th Shanghai International Artwork Trade Week will be held from Nov 10 to 15.
Launched in 2019, the trade week has staged seven editions, each year gathering more than 100 leading art institutions and hosting over 100 art events, with the market gradually growing to a scale of tens of billions of yuan.
This year's edition is built around four fairs: the 13th West Bund Art & Design, the 14th ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, the 12th Shanghai Young Art Fair, and Revelations China 2026, and the International Craft Innovation Expo. Distinctively positioned and mutually complementary, they span modern and contemporary art, emerging practice, craft innovation and design, forming a multi-category platform for top galleries and institutions worldwide.
The week also links auctions with the 9th China International Import Expo, which will take place in Shanghai from Nov 5-10. Ten exhibitors have signed up for CIIE's cultural relics and artworks zone, covering 2,276 square meters, as Shanghai pushes forward its duty-free policy for five cultural-relic exhibits and implements management measures for its international cultural relics and artworks trading service center.
