Chinese students present visions for intelligent global governance

Focused on the core theme of "intelligent era: artificial intelligence and a new vision for global peace", 89 young project representatives from 34 schools across the country conducted in-depth explorations and project presentations, during the 2026 Middle School Innovation Cases on Global Governance held at Fuxing High School affiliated to Fudan University on Saturday.

After on-site roadshow communication and comprehensive evaluation, the awards of this year's MSICGG were officially announced. Two projects — one from Shanghai Datong High School, and the other from High School affiliated to Fudan University — won the special awards.

Additionally, a total of five first prizes, eight second prizes, and 12 third prizes were awarded in the final evaluation, with participating teams from high schools in Beijing, Shanghai, and Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.

Drawing on AI, students explored feasible paths for technology to empower global peace from different dimensions, presenting youth solutions that blend imagination with practical thinking.

Global governance calls for harnessing the capabilities of all individuals, uniting people from all corners of the world, and creating greater synergy, and in the process, talents play a critical role, Yin Zhiguang, a professor at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University, said.
