A British Shakespearean actor's first experience learning Chinese

On Sept 17, China Daily's Vision China event was held in London, bringing together guests from various sectors in China and Europe to share their insights. Under the theme "Listen to Each Other, Open New Horizons", the event sought to advance China-Europe friendship and foster exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. During the event, young representatives from China and the UK presented River Moon and Summer's Day: A Dialogue Across a Millennium. British Shakespearean actor Ethan Bareham, one of the performers, said in an interview that his Chinese was not very good, so he used prepared "cheat sheets" to help him remember the pronunciation.
