Guiyang sets Guinness record for simultaneous cocktail shaking

A Guinness World Records challenge for the most people simultaneously shaking cocktails or mocktails was completed recently in Guiyang, Guizhou province. The previous record was 1,710 participants. The new record stands at 1,835.

The record attempt took place during the 15th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo. Open to people aged 18 and above, the challenge required no prior cocktail-making experience. The event gave members of the public an opportunity to learn professional bartending techniques.
