Built around hard rock, Game Changer features guitar, bass and drums and marks a departure from Zhang's previous musical approach. Its lyrics center on breaking through constraints and redefining oneself.
The release follows a strategic partnership announced in June between Universal Music Group and Zhang. Under the partnership, Zhang has begun developing international projects, including a recent trip to the United States for musical exchanges.
During the trip, Zhang met Colomby and other international musicians, exchanging ideas and developing new material. Colomby and Molina subsequently joined the production of the new song.
