"Classics" are not merely relics of the past; they are a vibrant cultural force that continues to resonate and inspire innovation across generations. The exhibition Memory and Future: Contemporary Italian Art, currently on display at the Guardian Art Center until Sept 9, showcases the dynamic and self-renewing landscape of Italian art since the 20th century.

Featuring dozens of paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, and designs by prominent contemporary artists such as Giorgio Morandi and Lucio Fontana, whose influence is felt worldwide, the exhibition pays tribute to the rich history of Italian art and its connection with China.

It presents a vision of artists and designers who address the evolving needs of modern society in their work and reflect on the emerging concerns of modern lifestyles and the interactions between different cultures.
