US cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks faces review in China
China has launched a cybersecurity review of products sold by Palo Alto Networks in the Chinese market, authorities said on Thursday.
The review is being conducted by the Cybersecurity Review Office under the Cyberspace Administration of China, the country's top internet regulator, in accordance with the National Security Law, the Cybersecurity Law and the Measures for Cybersecurity Review.
In a statement, the office said the review aims to ensure the secure and stable operation of critical information infrastructure, prevent cybersecurity risks and safeguard national security.
Palo Alto Networks is a leading United States-based artificial intelligence-driven cybersecurity company. Its core offerings include network security, cloud security and security operations solutions.
