Dalian hosts 2026 China Overseas Scholar Innovation Summit

The 2026 China Overseas Scholar Innovation Summit was held in Dalian, Liaoning province, on Thursday and Friday, focusing on fostering entrepreneurship and employment among overseas returnees, commercializing research outcomes, and mapping out future industrial tracks.
To connect high-quality domestic and international sci-tech resources, the organizing committee shortlisted 120 projects led by returnees with overseas educational backgrounds. Following preliminary screenings and evaluation reviews, a selection of the most promising projects was chosen for investment and incubation support.
