A touring exhibition of colored and glazed porcelain from the Yuan (1271-1368) and Ming (1368-1644) dynasties has opened its final stop at Beijing's Liangma Antique Market.

Following previous stops in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, and Shanghai, the exhibition is concluding its national tour in Beijing.

The exhibition explores the development of imperial kiln colored glazes from the Yuan and Ming dynasties, featuring complete heirloom porcelains, restored masterpieces and kiln-site excavated specimens. Highlights include Yuan Dynasty copper-red and cobalt-blue glazes, alongside renowned Ming Dynasty glazes.

The exhibition aims to bridge academic research and public education with each tour stop accompanied by expert lectures on imperial kiln production, glaze and ceramic identification.
