Experts at the seminar praised the documentary for weaving more than a dozen Suzhou crafts into a coherent cultural narrative while maintaining an engaging, accessible tone. The participation of Chen helps bridge the gap between traditional culture and younger audiences.
The film has already been screened in Paris, Milan and Venice, impressing foreign audiences with the charm of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. Starting in July, it will be shown in more than 30 cities across China, with nearly 1,000 screenings planned.
