Works of fine craftsmanship by seasoned artists from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei province are on display at Ingenuity of Crafts, Empowerment by Education, an exhibition held at the China Millennium Monument to celebrate the country's long, diverse handicraft traditions.

Sponsored by the Beijing Culture and Art Fund, curators from the Beijing Arts and Crafts Technician College aim to showcase artistic evolution and technological progress through handicrafts that are designated as important cultural heritage. Also highlighted is academic support in empowering tradition and the rendering of cutting-edge quality works.

Meanwhile, the exhibition employs a "Master Artisans plus School-Enterprise Dual-Track" training model to coordinate resources, society, school, and industry in the cultivation of new-generation handicraft artists.

The exhibition will later tour Tianjin and cities in Hebei.
