Expo in Changchun promotes innovation in optoelectronics
The third Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo and Light Conference and the Chinese Optical Society's Changchun annual conference kicked off on Friday in Changchun, Jilin province.
The expo was divided into seven featured exhibition areas, including atomic-level manufacturing, low-altitude economy, embodied intelligence and others.
A recruitment section aimed to meet the industry's needs for attracting and employing talent.
Nearly 900 companies participated, including 236 leading enterprises — 50 more than last year.
More than 2,000 experts and scholars from 23 countries and regions across six continents were invited to attend.
More than 50 side meetings and events were scheduled during the professional, market-oriented international optoelectronics industry event.
In recent years, Changchun has turned itself into a world-class optoelectronics information industry hub — dubbed "Optoelectronics City". It is promoting the integration of technology and industry while accelerating breakthroughs in critical technologies.
The optoelectronics information industry has become a driving force for developing new productive forces in Changchun and empowering a regional economic transformation.
