One person killed, four injured in Jiangxi expressway accident

A collision between a tractor-trailer and a car on the Daguang Expressway in Jiangxi province left one person dead and four injured on Feb 23, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management.
The accident occurred at 2:48 pm on the south-to-north section of the expressway in Ji'an.
Emergency services, including highway police, fire and rescue, medical personnel, and road assistance units, promptly arrived at the scene to rescue the injured, investigate the circumstances, and manage traffic flow.
Authorities confirmed that one car passenger succumbed to injuries after being rushed to the hospital. An official investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
