The China National Philatelic Corporation has issued collectibles and albums featuring a series of postage stamps ahead of the Year of the Horse that will begin on Feb 17.

The highlights include a collection of 12 horse-themed stamps of three sets: one Year of the Horse set, the latest in a series of zodiac-themed stamps that the CNPC has issued every year since 1980, and another two sets issued in Hong Kong and Macao.

Another of the latest issues is a door ornament that features designs of eight horse stamps with a ninth stamp of the Chinese character fu (blessing) in the center.

Every year the company launches a series of collectibles celebrating the Chinese New Year, integrating zodiac-themed stamps with designer toys.
