HR conference sparks discussion on talent potentials in AI era

The fifth China Talent Momentum Conference held in Shanghai on Friday brought together leaders from more than 100 global enterprises, university professors, and human resource executives to discuss the current state, future development, and transformative trends of talent potentials in China from diverse perspectives.

Pan Shumin, director of Xuhui district's overseas Chinese affairs office, highlighted the importance of leveraging demographic dividends, enhancing talent recruitment, and building a high-quality, professional workforce, at the event organized by MoSeeker, a domestic company that provides digital recruiting solutions.

Wang Xiangdao, founder and CEO of MoSeeker, elaborated on new methodologies for the future of work. In his speech, he analyzed trends, such as the reliance of the global economy on China and changes in the number of Chinese university graduates, highlighting the need for both quantity and quality in talent development.

Ma Nuo, vice-president of human resources for Goodyear Asia Pacific, shared insights on self-empowerment in change management. She discussed how the company values personal growth and vision during its global transformation, encouraging a positive mindset to embrace changes and expand future possibilities.

Yang Tao, an expert in organization and talent development at financial tech company Ant Group, discussed the power of reinvention and renewal in his speech. He noted the evolving role of HR in the AI wave and how organizations are exploring and driving AI transformation to empower more work processes.

During the roundtable session, participants engaged in insightful discussions on topics, including the contributions, opportunities, and challenges of AI in talent empowerment, performance management and cost efficiency.
