Voices across time: Miu Miu Literary Club illuminates women's growth through classics
With evocative readings of excerpts from the three books by Miu Miu brand ambassadors Liu Haocun, Li Gengxi and Zhao Jinmai, and live music performances by Lexie Liu and Chen Sijiang adding rhythm to the words, the event transcended the traditional "book discussion" to become a "multi-sensory cultural resonance".
On-site feedback echoed that resonance. Zhang Hanying, 32, editor-in-chief of Noblesse Chinese Edition, said: "The combination of 'women' and 'literary club' itself feels warm and supportive. The on-site atmosphere matched that perfectly. All the exchanges are in-depth, yet free and equal. It is a rare brand event where women truly gain strength."
As Cao concluded: "Literature does not offer standard answers but opens up more perspectives." This cross-temporal dialogue among women may not have provided the sole answer to "how women should grow", but through the power of classics and sincere sharing, it has illuminated a possible path toward self-awakening for all.
