Encrucijadas (crossroads), an ongoing exhibition at Today Art Museum in Beijing, and a collaboration between the museum and the Instituto Cervantes, opens an exchange between female artists and collectors in China and Spain.

On show are paintings, sculptures, installations and images to reflect the individual perceptions and states of being in a rapidly changing world. The diversity of mediums and approaches reveals how artists move beyond the confines of gender to address emotion, identity, memory and other shared human concerns.

The exhibition, running until Feb 1, also highlights the influence and growing visibility of female collectors in the field.

10 am-6 pm, closed on Mondays. 32 Baiziwan Road, Chaoyang district, Beijing. 010-5876-0600.
