Photo Beijing 2025 celebrates global vision and cultural connections

"In a rapidly changing world, filled with challenges and noise, photography reminds us to pause. To observe. To feel. A single photograph can freeze time, evoke emotion and reveal truth. It can challenge perceptions and ignite dialogue. It can remind us of beauty and of responsibility," he says.
Li Ge, president of the China Photographers Association, says Photo Beijing has been held each year since 2013. Over the years, the event has continuously innovated to capture the changing times through the lens of a camera and to tell China's stories through images.
"Today, it has not only become a prominent cultural symbol of Beijing but also plays an irreplaceable role in promoting exchanges between Chinese and foreign photography, integrating culture and tourism, and fostering academic innovation," says Li.
The event will run until Oct 27.
