iQIYI, China's leading online entertainment platform, has reported strong performance from its summer content lineup, led by the long-form drama Coroner's Diary, micro-drama How Dare You!? and short drama Rose Finch. These successes reinforce iQIYI's integrated "long + short" content strategy, catering to diverse viewer preferences.

Coroner's Diary, a crime mystery with interconnected cases, became a national hit with a content popularity index exceeding 10,000. It topped charts in more than 10 markets and ranked first on iQIYI International in 13 markets, including Thailand, Malaysia and the US.

The micro-drama How Dare You!?, featuring a comedic fantasy plot, surpassed 800 million views and entered iQIYI's top 10 overseas micro-drama charts. Its bite-sized episodes and engaging twists resonated with mobile viewers, even reviving interest in its original animation. Meanwhile, Rose Finch, blending folklore with investigative drama, dominated China's short drama market for six days running, peaking at a 44% viewership share.

These hits underscore the growing appeal of short-form content, which complements iQIYI's long-form offerings. The company's "Thousand Mini-Dramas" and "Hundred Short-Dramas" initiatives further diversify genres, with micro-dramas ranking among the most-watched on iQIYI Lite, its free short-form platform.

More than 400 new titles are scheduled to be released on the platform, including sequels to popular series like Original Sin and A Ming Dynasty Mystery. The company is also aiming to maintain its leadership in China's rapidly evolving content market by leveraging data analytics and AI technology, all while expanding its global influence.
