An art exhibition titled The Golden Lotus opened at Beijing's 798 Art District on Saturday. Organized by Artist Kitchen, the show features nearly 60 original hand-drawn art cards created by artists.

The works vary in style — from delicate and detailed to bold and expressive — drawing inspiration from masters such as Matisse, Picasso and Magritte. Despite their small size, each card showcases the beauty of line and personal expression.

Many of the artworks challenge traditional portrayals. Heroes appear with a hint of charm and mystery, while beauties are depicted with vivid emotion and captivating eyes, moving away from the usual image of calm elegance.

The idea of hand-drawn art cards comes from the ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) format, which originated abroad. Each card measures just 6.3 by 8.8 centimeters and is designed for both art sharing and collecting.

In addition to the exhibition, Artist Kitchen is also launching special "pocket paintings" and custom-made blind boxes, giving collectors and visitors more opportunities to enjoy and own original artwork.

The exhibition runs until the end of June.
