'Conversation and Connection' concert held in Paris

On June 8, 2025, the "Conversation and Connection - Summer Breeze" concert by the China National Traditional Orchestra was staged at the China Cultural Center in Paris. Over 150 Chinese and French guests gathered to experience a grand feast of traditional Chinese music.

In his opening speech, Wang Meng, director of the China Cultural Center in Paris, emphasized that the United Nations designated June 10 as the "International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations" to promote exchanges, understanding, and harmonious coexistence among diverse civilizations through equality, inclusiveness, and mutual learning. This concert, themed "Conversation and Connection", vividly embodied the spirit of this UN initiative, injecting cultural vitality into building a peaceful and sustainable community with a shared future for humanity.

The performance featured acclaimed compositions including Dunhuang, Ambush from Ten Sides (Shi Mian Mai Fu), Journey to Gusu (Gu Su Xing), Sous le Ciel de Paris (Under the Paris Sky), and My Motherland and I, among other masterpieces.

Co-hosted by the China Cultural Center in Paris and the China International Cultural Association, with support from the China National Tourist Office in Paris as organizer, and Bank of China as strategic partner, the concert​ employed ​traditional music to narrate China's stories and convey the contemporary vision of mutual learning among civilizations.
