10,000 students, parents visit SUAT on its first campus open day

Jiang Yuxin, among SUAT's inaugural undergraduates, shared how the university's hands-on, research-driven approach attracted her. Over the past year, she has balanced theory with lab rotations, industry visits, and a vibrant residential campus life.
This year, SUAT is planning to recruit 360 undergraduate students from Guangdong province, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Zhejiang province, Jiangxi province, Henan province, Hubei province, Hunan province, and Sichuan province. In their first year, students will be admitted under the broad category of computer science and technology, with the option to specialize in one of the following fields in their second year: computer science and technology, materials science and engineering, biotechnology, neuroscience, pharmacy, biomedical engineering or synthetic biology.
