A grand lantern fair is ongoing at the Chinese Women's Prayer and Blessing Garden in Dengfeng city, located in Central China's Henan province.
The garden is situated on the site of the Ancient Dazhou Altar Ruins, where Empress Wu Zetian conducted the grand Fengshan ceremony in 696. The Fengshan ceremony was an ancient sacrificial ritual performed by emperors to pay homage to Heaven and Earth.
