With the New Year holidays approaching, an upcoming film aims to tickle the audience's funny bones while also wishing them good luck.

Good Luck, the comedy feature, set to premiere in domestic theaters on Saturday, is directed by Zhu Lingfeng and stars actors Qiao Shan and Huang Cailun.

The film revolves around a unique company dedicated to helping ordinary people achieve their dreams. It follows the stories of three individuals: a young woman aspiring to become a singer, a startup owner rebuilding his confidence, and a delivery man striving to make his parents proud.

Director Zhu said that the movie was created with a simple purpose — to help the audience relieve stress when dealing with challenges and adversities in life, during the film's premiere event held in Beijing on Thursday.

As December heralds the start of the lucrative New Year holiday box-office season, industry insiders anticipate that this comedy, the first of its kind to debut during this period, will inject warmth into the currently subdued market.
