Xi calls for comprehensive, just and lasting settlement of Palestinian question

BRASILIA -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday expressed concerns about the continued spread of the conflict in Gaza, and called for a ceasefire and an end to the war at an early date, the implementation of the two-state solution and unremitting efforts for a comprehensive, just and lasting settlement of the Palestinian question.
Xi made the remarks when he and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva jointly met the press after their talks.
