China's top procuratorate orders arrest of former senior provincial political advisor

BEIJING -- The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) has ordered the arrest of Dai Daojin, a former senior political advisor of Central China's Hunan province, for suspected bribe-taking.
The case of Dai, formerly deputy secretary of the leading Party members group of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice chairperson of the committee, was investigated by the National Commission of Supervision before being handed over to prosecutors, the SPP said in a statement on Tuesday.
