What they say

Nova Cherry
"I've never seen pandas before, so it's going to be cool to see pandas in real life," said Nova Cherry, a Los Angeles resident and video influencer who has 6.5 million followers on TikTok. He said he has only seen pandas in movies and is a Kung Fu Panda fan. Cherry added that he was really excited to see giant pandas in person and encouraged people to visit the San Diego Zoo and its beautiful environment and conservation area.

"They are quintessential San Diego and to have them back here in San Diego, we couldn't be more excited," said Jessica Chenoweth."We've been missing them. I remember when we had our last baby panda — he was so cute and I loved him so much. We always watch them on the little videos. They are too special … that's part of San Diego Zoo history. They are coming back here. It just feels like the family's home."
Jordan and Jada Metz
"They look softy," Jordan Metz, 10, of San Diego, said. His younger sister, Jada, 7, also likes pandas a lot. "They're one of my favorites. How they are, how they feel. They're just so, they look comfy," she said.
