Former Hong Kong official: No major foreign businesses intend to leave

Frederick Ma Si-hang, a veteran business leader and Hong Kong's former secretary for commerce and economic development, said on Thursday that he is not aware of any major foreign businesses having the intention to leave Hong Kong. He attributed much of the controversy to Western media's negative coverage of the city. People who are actually living in Hong Kong invariably appreciate its social stability, prosperity, and superb business climate, he added.
