Ningxia provides job opportunities for college graduates
To facilitate employment for college students graduating in 2024, a special job fair was held in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region on Wednesday.
A total of 190 local enterprises participated in the job fair, offering more than 4,700 job positions, including safety engineers, electrical engineers, foreign trade specialists and accountants.
Over 12,000 college graduates attended the event, including some that had graduated in previous years. Among them were 1,544 job seekers who achieved initial employment intention with the employers. The job fair also featured live-streaming of job opportunities, reaching a total of 37,000 online views.
Meanwhile, interactive booths were set up for corporate road-shadows, policy presentations, career guidance and resume diagnosis. The event also invited outstanding employees from well-known enterprises to share their experiences and insights and to help the graduates better make their career plans.
This year, Ningxia has made employment a top priority, focusing on expanding job opportunities for young people. So far, it has held more than 740 online and offline job fairs, providing a total of more than 370,000 job positions.
